Sgt. Dustin Joynes, of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office, graduated from the FBI National Academy Program in Quantico, VA on March 19, 2010.
Sgt. Joynes was part of the 240th session of the National Academy, which included 253 officers from 50 states. Included in the class were members of law enforcement agencies from 20 foreign countries, four military organizations and four federal civilian organizations.
Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy Program, held at the FBI Academy, offers 10 weeks of advanced investigative, management and fitness training for selected officers that have proven records as professionals within their agencies.
